Furniture courier with room-of-choice delivery
A sofa delivered to a kerb is a problem, not a delivery. Furniture and fabrics travel on a clean van, blanket-wrapped, and go into the room they are for, with the packaging taken away if you want it gone.
Why is a clean load space not a detail?
Because upholstery picks up everything. Grease from a pallet, dust from a building load, a smell from whatever went before. None of it shows at the point of loading, and all of it shows in a living room.
So these loads travel alone. The van carries your furniture and nothing else, wrapped in blankets and braced so nothing rubs against anything on the road.
Who books a furniture courier?
Makers and upholsterers delivering a finished piece. Interior designers fitting out a room. Dealers and auction buyers moving something home. Anyone who has bought a piece that will not go in a car.
Repair and reupholstery legs are common too: out to the workshop and back weeks later, both legs to the same standard. Where the piece is antique or unusually valuable, see art and antiques.
What we handle
What do you move for the furniture trade?

Room-of-choice delivery and positioning
Carried in, up the stairs and placed where you want it, not left in the hall.
Repair and reupholstery legs
Out to the workshop and back weeks later, both legs booked as one arrangement.
Rolls, fabrics and soft furnishings
Kept off the floor and away from anything that could mark or crease them.

FAQs
Questions we get asked
Will my furniture share a van with other freight?
No. It travels alone, which is the only way to be sure nothing rubs, marks or transfers a smell onto upholstery. That is the main reason this work does not go on a pallet network.
How is a polished or painted finish protected?
Blankets, corner protection and bracing, with the piece secured so it cannot shift on the road. Tell dispatch what the finish is and the wrapping is matched to it.
Will it be brought inside and upstairs?
Yes, as a two man delivery where the piece needs two people. Say at booking how many floors there are and whether there's a lift, so it's priced right from the start.
Can you take the packaging away?
Yes, if you say so when you book. The crew unwrap the piece, put it where you want it, and take the cardboard with them rather than leaving a pile behind.
What if the piece will not fit through the door?
The crew try the obvious things: a door off its hinges, feet unscrewed, a different angle. If it genuinely will not go, they'll say so rather than force it, which is why the dimensions matter at booking.
