Alcohol courier for the drinks trade, bars and events
Cases, kegs and pallets delivered to bars, venues and events on a dedicated van, with a tail lift where there's no forklift at the other end. Book the return leg at the same time and the unsold stock comes back on one arrangement rather than two.
- Age checked at handover
- Tail lift where needed
- Return leg booked together
What makes a drinks load awkward?
Weight in a small footprint, glass that doesn't forgive a pallet shift, and delivery points built for customers rather than freight. A cellar hatch, a first-floor function room, a pedestrianised high street at eleven in the morning — none of those suit a curtain-sider and a forklift.
So the vehicle is chosen for the door, not just the load. Tell dispatch what's at the receiving end and the van arrives able to get the stock inside rather than as far as the pavement.
- Cases and mixed pallets for bars and venues
- Event stock in, unsold stock back out
- Cellar drops and upstairs function rooms
- Deliveries timed around a venue's opening hours
What does an alcohol courier cost?
Distance, van size and what's needed at the door. A tail lift, a second crew member or a timed window all change the figure, and all of them are agreed before the van is loaded.
- Road miles, and whether a return leg is booked
- Van size, from a few cases to a full pallet load
- Tail lift, or a second person for a cellar drop
- Timed delivery around trading hours

FAQs
Questions we get asked
Will you deliver alcohol to a residential address?
Yes, with an age check at handover. The driver needs someone over eighteen to receive it. Alcohol is not left with a neighbour or in a porch, so give dispatch a name and a number for whoever will be there.
Can you deliver pallets where there's no forklift?
Yes, that's what the tail lift is for. Tell dispatch there's no forklift at the delivery end and the van comes with one. A pallet truck comes too, to get the load off the lift and through the door.
Can you collect unsold stock after an event?
Yes, and booking it with the delivery is cheaper than calling it in afterwards. Give dispatch the derig time at the start and the return leg is scheduled as part of the same arrangement.
What happens if something breaks in transit?
Loads are strapped and braced rather than stacked loose, which prevents most of it. Tell dispatch the value of the consignment when you book so the right cover is confirmed before collection rather than discussed afterwards.
