Forgotten passport delivery to the terminal, today
If your passport is at home and you're at the airport, a driver can collect it from someone at the address and bring it to your terminal. Call dispatch before you do anything else — the earlier a van starts moving, the better the odds.
- Collection usually within the hour
- Named person at handover
- Booked with a person
What should you do in the first five minutes?
Call dispatch before you queue, before you rebook, before anything. A controller needs three things: the address the passport is at, the terminal you're standing in, and your cut-off time. They'll work back from the cut-off and tell you honestly whether it's achievable.
Then line up whoever is at the address. They need to be there when the driver arrives and able to hand the passport over — that hand-off is usually what decides whether the run works.
- The postcode the passport is at
- Your terminal, and your check-in cut-off
- A name and mobile for the person there
What does a passport run cost?
Road miles and the clock. A short hop across a city is a different job from a 200-mile motorway run against a cut-off, and dispatch prices both before a driver leaves. Anything else you've left behind is priced the same way — see lost property courier.
Ask for the price before you decide to rebook the flight. A missed departure usually costs several times what the run does.
- Distance from the address to the terminal
- How tight the cut-off is
- Time of day, including night runs

FAQs
Questions we get asked
Will it get there in time?
Dispatch works back from your cut-off and gives you a straight answer before a van moves. If the roads don't allow it, you'll hear that immediately rather than after paying for a run that can't make it.
Who can hand the passport to the driver?
Anyone you authorise who is at the address when the driver arrives. Give dispatch their name and mobile number at booking, and the driver calls ahead so nobody is waiting at a locked door.
What if nobody is at the address?
The driver can't enter an empty property. If there's no one there, arrange for a neighbour, a family member or a key-holder to meet the driver, and tell dispatch who it will be.
Can you bring something other than a passport?
Yes. Driving licences, visas, boarding documents, medication, a laptop, car keys. It's the same run whatever the item — lost property courier covers the rest.
Do you do this at night or at weekends?
Yes. Early flights mean early collections, and the desk is staffed for them. A 4am collection for a 6am check-in is an ordinary booking.
