Car parts courier, trade to trade, same day
A dedicated van takes the part from the factor, the dealer or the supplier straight to the ramp, on the same day and with nothing else on board. If a vehicle is already off the road and waiting, book it as an emergency courier.
- Collection usually within the hour
- One driver, no depot stage
- Signed proof of delivery
Which parts do networks handle badly?
Anything long, anything glass, anything that only fits one vehicle. A windscreen or a body panel doesn't survive a sorting belt, and an exhaust doesn't fit the box a network wants to put it in. A dedicated van doesn't care about the shape.
Then there's the single-fit problem. A generic part can be re-ordered; the correct part for the vehicle on the ramp often can't, not today, which is why it's worth moving properly the first time.
- Windscreens, glass and body panels
- Exhausts, bumpers and long assemblies
- Gearboxes, engines and heavy units
- The one part that fits the vehicle on the ramp
What does a parts courier cost?
Road miles and the van the part needs. A filter and a tailgate are the same distance and a different price, because one travels in a small van and the other needs space and bracing.
- Distance from the factor to the workshop
- Van size, and whether the part needs bracing
- Out-of-hours collections before a factor closes
- A regular route, priced as a standing arrangement

FAQs
Questions we get asked
Can you carry a windscreen or a body panel?
Yes. Tell dispatch what it is and the van comes with blankets and bracing rather than being loaded like a box. Glass and panels travel standing and secured, which is exactly what a sorting network can't do.
Do you deliver to garages out of hours?
Yes. Early collections before a factor opens and late drops after a workshop closes are both ordinary, as long as somebody is there to take it. Give dispatch a name and a number for the receiving end.
Can you run a regular route between our branches?
Yes. Give dispatch the branches, the days and the windows and it's priced as a standing arrangement, usually with the same driver so the counter staff know who's coming.
What about batteries, airbags and classified parts?
Those are dangerous goods and they go on a different footing. Tell dispatch before booking and it's handled through our ADR and dangerous goods work rather than as a standard parts run.
