Jewellery courier for the watch and jewellery trade
Watches, jewellery and loose stones are small, valuable and untraceable once gone. They move on one van, discreetly, and are released only to a person named at booking. Cover is agreed before collection rather than assumed.
Why is small, valuable stock hard to protect?
Value here bears no relation to size. A consignment worth more than the van fits in a coat pocket. Nothing about the parcel signals what it is, and nothing about its weight makes anyone treat it carefully.
So the answer is to remove every point where it could be mislaid. One driver holds it the whole way. It never enters a depot. The vans carry nothing that says who we are or what is inside.
How are trade movements and repairs handled?
Most of this is trade to trade: dealer to dealer, retailer to workshop, workshop to setter, and counter collections against an order number.
Repairs matter most. The piece goes out, sits with a watchmaker for weeks, and comes back, and the return leg needs the same standard as the outbound one. Book both at once and the return window is already agreed. Where the value is in the metal rather than the piece, see gold and precious metals.
What we handle
What do you carry for the trade?
Finished pieces between dealers and retailers
Dealer to dealer and retailer to workshop on one van, handed to the person named at booking.
Trade-counter collections against an order
Collected against your order or reference number, at a time agreed with the counter so nothing sits waiting.
Repair, service and restoration legs
Out to the watchmaker and back weeks later, both legs to the same standard.
Loose stones and auction consignments
Held by one driver for the whole run, tracked, and never left unattended.

Get one fixed price and a dedicated vehicle
Dispatch confirms a fixed price and sends one vehicle and one driver for your job alone, with no hubs and no handovers.
- 03

FAQs
Questions we get asked
What cover is in place for the value?
It's agreed against the value you declare and confirmed in writing before collection, not assumed from a standard limit. Tell dispatch the value at enquiry. If a consignment can't be properly covered, we'll say so rather than carry it.
Who is allowed to take delivery?
Only the person named at booking. The driver won't leave a consignment at a reception or with a colleague. That's occasionally awkward at the far end, and it's exactly why it's agreed in advance.
Will the piece ever be left unattended?
No. One driver holds it for the whole journey, it never enters a depot or a sorting facility, and it isn't transferred between vans at any point.
Can you collect against an order number?
Yes. Give dispatch the order or reference number and the name of the person releasing it, and the collection is made against that rather than a general description.
Can you handle both legs of a repair?
Yes, and it's worth booking both. A return from a workshop weeks later needs the same standard as the outbound leg, and arranging it up front means the window is already agreed.
